Our Climate Capital segment is central to the delivery of these ambitious targets, investing in large scale renewables and infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America. What is the Role: Climate Capital is looking for an exceptional candidate to take a lead role in defining and executing the data strategy that will transform our business in delivering credit risk data and reporting to provide effective portfolio oversight and risk management. The Climate Capital data strategy is a priority for our growing team and will be a key enabler to how we operate into the future as a core segment of AIB Group with exciting plans for the future. The role holder will lead the delivery of our business data requirements and reporting initiatives as well as representing our business in group strategic initiatives which are fundamental to our success. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations & Enablement in Climate Capital, this is a unique opportunity for an experienced, high performing individual to join this ambitious team, as we build out our international platform and directly contribute to global climate action goals. We have exciting plans to expand our team at pace. Key accountabilities; Build, implement and maintain the Climate Capital end-to-end data strategy ensuring regulatory rigour and BCBS 239 compliance Represent Climate Capital at enterprise wide strategic technology and data initiatives Collaborate with Model Development and Implementation teams to ensure the effective delivery of Climate Capital owned models Drive delivery of solutions through excellent collaboration with technical and business stakeholders Bring a continuous improvement mindset to the Business Operations & Enablement function to support iterative process improvement across the function Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders in representing the Climate Capital data and reporting frameworks and associated projects / initiatives. Minimum Criteria; Minimum of 7 years experience in enterprise data and portfolio reporting solutions, with proven and relevant experience in data strategy execution Demonstrate a clear understanding of Lending / Credit in a wholesale banking environment Experience of navigating complex organisation structures and managing internal executive stakeholders Progressive and effective leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organisation and within complex contexts.
