**Climate Capital Data Strategy Lead** Transform AIB's business by delivering credit risk data and reporting to provide effective portfolio oversight and risk management. Location/Office Policy: Hybrid Working At AIB, we're making a difference to how businesses contribute to climate action. We're aiming to make 70 percent of our lending green or transition by 2030 and we've set up a €30 billion climate action fund. Our Climate Capital segment is central to the delivery of these ambitious targets, investing in large scale renewables and infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America. This is the fastest growing area of the bank's loan book. We're looking for an exceptional candidate to take a lead role in defining and executing the data strategy that will transform our business. **Key Responsibilities:** • Build, implement and maintain the Climate Capital end-to-end data strategy ensuring regulatory rigour and BCBS 239 compliance • Represent Climate Capital at enterprise wide strategic technology and data initiatives • Collaborate with Model Development and Implementation teams to ensure the effective delivery of Climate Capital owned models • Drive delivery of solutions through excellent collaboration with technical and business stakeholders • Bring a continuous improvement mindset to the Business Operations & Enablement function to support iterative process improvement across the function • Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders in representing the Climate Capital data and reporting frameworks and associated projects / initiatives **Requirements:** • Minimum of 7 years experience in enterprise data and portfolio reporting solutions, with proven and relevant experience in data strategy execution • Demonstrate a clear understanding of Lending / Credit in a wholesale banking environment • Experience of navigating complex organisation structures and managing internal executive stakeholders • Progressive and effective leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organisation and within complex contexts • Experience in managing across teams, multiple partners and geographies • Proven capability to deliver data / reporting solutions **Why Work for AIB:** We are committed to offering our colleagues choice and flexibility in how we work and live and our hybrid working model enables our people to balance their time between working from home and their designated office, subject to their role, the needs of our customers and business requirements.
