Job Description
Climate Capital seeks an exceptional Data Strategy Lead to define and execute its data strategy, transforming the business in delivering credit risk data and reporting.
Ahead of Data Strategy is a critical role in Climate Capital's growth, influencing how the company operates into the future. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of business data requirements and reporting initiatives, representing Climate Capital in group strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing the end-to-end data strategy for Climate Capital, ensuring regulatory rigor and compliance with BCBS 239
- Representing Climate Capital in enterprise-wide strategic technology and data initiatives
- Collaborating with Model Development and Implementation teams to ensure effective delivery of Climate Capital-owned models
- Driving delivery of solutions through excellent collaboration with technical and business stakeholders
- Engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders in representing the Climate Capital data and reporting frameworks and associated projects/initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in enterprise data and portfolio reporting solutions
- Proven experience in data strategy execution
- A clear understanding of lending/credit in a wholesale banking environment
- Experience in navigating complex organization structures and managing internal executive stakeholders
- Progressive and effective leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs
- Experience in managing across teams, multiple partners, and geographies
