**Head of Development at St. Vincents Castleknock College** Seeking an experienced and visionary individual to lead fundraising efforts, implementing a strategy to grow the donor base and advance the College's mission. **About the Role** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead the fundraising efforts of St. Vincents Castleknock College. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, growing the donor base, and advancing the College's mission. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead the fundraising strategy of the College • Work effectively with the leadership team to implement and enhance the current campaign plan • Grow the donor base of alumni, parents, and friends • Manage campaign and annual giving, cultivate major gifts, and establish legacy support • Ensure the stewardship of donors and manage the fundraising function • Cultivate relations with alumni and ensure effective internal and external communication about the College's fundraising progress **Qualifications and Experience** • Successful record in fundraising and/or transferable skills • Proven track record of adopting KPIs and surpassing targets • Bachelors degree minimum • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills • Strong organisational and multi-tasking capacity • Ability to think strategically at a whole school level with project management expertise **Personal Characteristics** • Sound judgement, complete professionalism, and discretion • Self-motivated with the confidence to act on one's own initiative • A can-do attitude, with drive, energy, and enthusiasm • Attention to detail • Passion for the mission and vision of Castleknock College **Benefits** • Salary: €60,000 - €70,000 depending on experience • Annual Leave: 25 days with some discretionary days • EAP Employee Assistance Programme • Subsidised canteen with hot food • Bike to Work Scheme • Ample free car parking and secure area for bicycles • Staff shower and changing rooms • Library facilities open to all
