This role is an exciting opportunity to drive and shape the Woodies omni-channel experience in order to grow revenue and drive best in class customer experience. The ideal candidate: 5+ years e-commerce experience. Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire, develop and lead a high performing team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with cross functional teams. Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong knowledge of latest online technologies, industry and competitive landscape. Deep knowledge of online merchandising and CVR optimisation techniques. Excellent analytical skills. Commercially focused. Key Responsibilities: Drive digital sales and omni channel customer experience for Woodies. Establish and drive key digital KPIs for the Woodies business including sales, profitability, service and omni-channel key KPIs. Collaborate to drive and execute 5 year digital strategy and planning for the omni channel business in order to grow market share for Woodies. Support the Digital and Marketing director in driving the digital P&L for Woodies to ensure cost management and maximization of EBITDA. Proactively seek and deliver opportunities to optimize the online customer journey utilizing customer insight and analytics, as well as competitor and market information. Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies, and bring best practices to our online operations. Partner with the Woodies IT department to ensure the e-commerce platform and vendors are functioning optimally and securely. Coordinate with the finance team to manage e-commerce budgeting and forecasting. Drive and be accountable for the ecommerce operating budget with a view to driving profitability of our eCommerce business. Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and service providers. Shape, define and execute strategic commercial plans online, working closely with Buying teams and ensuring that the online proposition is aligned with the core commercial propositions alongside best in class customer experience. Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders and their respective processes, products, and systems to gain consumer insights, ensure consumer loyalty and engagement to drive profitable sales through relevant, targeted and strategic digital activities. Manage a digital product team to ensure successful delivery of projects alongside customer experience development to ensure best in class omni channel customer experience onsite. Drive the roadmap and execution of new revenue channels including dropship, eConcession and market place in order to grow market share for the Woodies business. Manage online navigation, browse and search journeys on the website and identify and execute initiatives to continually improve these aspects of the customer journey, and improve customer satisfaction. Manage and drive the product lifecycle to site including speed to site and tone of voice in digital enrichment in order to drive conversion and maximize selling time. Manage, coach and develop a high performing team.
