Today, over 3,000 companies and 1 million developers rely on our tools and services to get the data they need from the web.About The JobZyte is building high-performance, globally scalable data platforms that will support our current and future growth in a highly innovative environment.The role of Head of Engineering (Platform) will lead the engineering teams responsible for our marketing tech stack, self-service eCommerce purchasing, billing & fintech portfolio, stats & usage APIs, and our central app.zyte.com and ScrapyCloud platforms. This role also takes responsibility for Product QA teams who matrix across all our technology products.The leader of this group will be responsible for two key areas of the Zyte data discovery and collection platform. Firstly, we're pioneering a whole new Zyte AI Experience to help our customers find and collect the web data they need to power their business strategies. This leader will play a key role in driving the tech vision for Zyte's UI and UX experiences for discovering data and self-service B2B buying. Secondly, our ScrapyCloud platform is central to our recently released AI Scraping capabilities. This engineering leader will play a critical role in defining the direction and leading the build teams for our core jobs orchestration, workflow and sequencing tech along with our associated HubStorage platform.You will be at the intersection of engineering, innovation, and product management. You will be deeply experienced in at least two, passionate about all three, and conversant with stakeholders in all.RequirementsRoles & Responsibilities:Lead the technical vision, strategy, and design for all these product areasTake responsibility for the technical direction, priorities, and overall quality of the tech stacks in this areaManage all staff / teams by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performanceCollaborate with all relevant stakeholders to influence the product roadmap Lead the creation and execution of the technical roadmap aligned to the business goals / product visionFoster a Team-of-Teams cultureMaintain and drive a portfolio of Research & Innovation projects including the embedding of GenAI / LLM capabilities across our platformTake responsibility for support, maintenance and operations including incident response Represent difficult trade-off decisions and solutions clearly to senior leaders to help them understand decisions and available options.
