Job Description
Seeking a seasoned finance leader to drive strategic planning, financial reporting, and process improvements for a semi-state company's key business unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely, accurate financial reporting for the business unit
- Design and implement management controls
- Assist with SAP implementation
- Manage budgetary control, financial planning, and financial forecast management
- Develop and implement corporate financial policies and procedures
- Maintain cost controls through effective budget management and cost analysis reporting
- Implement 5-year business plan
- Maintain audit standards and ensure implementation of finance-related recommendations and improvements to processes and procedures
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification with at least 10-15 years post-qualification experience
- Director-level experience in accountancy practice or Head of Finance in a large, diverse organization with construction experience preferred
- Demonstrable strong financial and business management skills, including people management, commercial management, and financial control
- Proven technical skills working within a similar-sized organization, including accounting (FRS102), reporting internally and externally, analytical, governance, and regulatory compliance
- Strategic decision-maker to influence policy decisions at business and company executive levels
- Demonstrate project and change management skills
