A leading online brand and multiple retail brands company seeks a Head of Finance to oversee all financial aspects, ensuring the financial health and stability of the online gaming operations.

**Job Summary** The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring the financial health and stability of the online gaming operations. This hands-on role requires strong analytical skills, excellent leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the financial challenges and opportunities in the online gaming sector. **Key Responsibilities:** • Collaborate with senior management to define and prioritize financial initiatives and objectives. • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that support the company's growth and profitability goals. • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and drive long-term value. • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings. • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and addressing variances. • Submission of mandatory reporting to authorities. • Provide Player Funds Reconciliation and PSP Reconciliations in a timely manner. • Conduct Revenue Analysis. • Provide prompt escalation of payment issues. • Prepare VAT returns and Recap statements. • Preparing Management Accounting. • Support internal and external audit. • Preparing various ad-hoc reports and analyses as required by the business - Reconciliation of customer-related bank accounts. • Identifying cost-saving opportunities. • Develop and maintain robust procedures for managing payment operations and resolving discrepancies. • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management. • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including gaming-specific requirements. • Develop and implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets. • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and transparency. • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance and professional growth. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence within the finance department. • Hire and build a strong finance team to support the company's financial objectives. **Financial Analysis & Decision Support:** • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modelling to support strategic planning and decision-making. • Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and other business opportunities, providing financial due diligence and recommendations. • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. **Qualifications and Experience Required:** • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the online gaming industry. • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies and initiatives. • Extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance. • Hands-on experience with payments reconciliations, managing inbound and outbound payments, and related financial operations. **Skills:** • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage financial data to drive business decisions. • Excellent leadership and people management skills. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems. • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective financial strategies aligned with business objectives. • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze financial data and metrics to optimize financial performance. • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire finance teams towards achieving high performance. • Compliance & Risk Management: Deep understanding of financial regulations and risk management frameworks. • Hands-On Approach: Willingness and ability to engage in daily financial operations, including payments reconciliations and transaction management. • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing financial landscapes and business needs. **Additional Information:** • Permanent Role • This is a full-time role • Salary Highly Competitive
