About the Role

  • Job Summary: We are seeking an ambitious professional with a strong financial background to join our team as Head of Finance.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist Eurofins in maintaining a high standard in medical testing.
    • Provide support to clients and colleagues to ensure a first-class service.
    • Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills as required.
    • Work with colleagues to contribute towards the continuous improvement of the department.
    • Demonstrate behaviour consistent with the mission and values of Eurofins.
    • Assist in the organisation of workload, prioritising tasks to ensure the effective running of the department.
    • Observe the strictest confidence when dealing with all aspects of patient and Company information.
  • Specific Tasks:
    • Be aware and compliant with all documentation related to your Department.
    • Be the finance lead for the Irish Clinical Diagnostics division.
    • Responsible for all monthly and quarterly Group financial reporting of the division and its business units.
    • Provide analysis on deviations between actuals and budgets.
    • Make ad-hoc financial analysis for the division leader and the Group management.
    • Strong oversight in the budget process of the division.
    • Improve, simplify, standardize and/or automate management information, reporting and KPIs.
    • Support the coordination & implementation of Groups Finance policies & procedures.
    • Ad hoc project management, including those supporting the Groups controlling activities.

Requirements

  • Education: ACA or ACCA qualification
  • Experience: At least 5 years work experience as a Head of Finance/Finance Director role and senior leadership experience with an international Group.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Ability to identify and implement business/financial processes to the standard of best practice.
    • Proven ability to work and deliver services within agreed budgets.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must be a team-player.
    • Effective verbal & written communication skills.
    • Attention to detail, and the ability to carry out activity with discretion & confidentiality.
    • Strong Organisational skills.
