We are presently recruiting for a head of Finance for our clients, a Retail and hospitality group in County Kerry. You will come from a Retail or FMCG background, have strong strategic financial management skills and have experience in leading a team of finance professionals. You will play a key role in financial risk management and mitigation and will support the company owners in managing cash flow and investment strategies. This is a full-time position, based in Office in County Kerry.Responsibilities:Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals.Oversee financial reporting, analysis, and presentation to senior management and stakeholders.Develop and implement robust internal controls and compliance measures.Drive financial performance improvement initiatives through cost analysis and optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial audits and tax filings.Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.Play a key role in financial risk management and mitigation.Qualifications and Experiences:Proven experience (8+ years) in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.In-depth knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.Demonstrated success in leading and developing finance teams.Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.Track record of implementing internal controls and ensuring compliance.Ability to navigate complex financial environments and adapt to industry changes.This is a senior position.
