Job Description

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Food Marketing to lead marketing efforts and drive brand growth in a competitive retail environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Food marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and Art Director to define and articulate the brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition.
  • Working with the customer insights team, translate insights into actionable marketing initiatives that drive customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the development and execution of brand marketing plans for all food categories.
  • Digital and Traditional Marketing: Work together with the Digital performance marketing team to drive the digital marketing strategy, including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Promotions and Campaigns: Plan and execute promotional campaigns to support product launches, seasonal events, and key sales periods.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Budget Management: Working with the Finance business partner, develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, merchandising, sales, and operations, to ensure alignment on marketing objectives.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the food retail or related retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish food retail market, including customer behaviour, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
  • Experience with digital marketing, including social media, e-commerce, and data analytics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation in marketing.
