About the roleReporting to the Head of Advisory across Davy Wealth Management, this role is responsible for guiding the investment strategy of the platform in Davy Select and expanding Davy Select's offering to retail clients.
The role is suited to an experienced Investment professional currently operating at a Director level, with exceptional drive, determination, and a proven track record of performance in a fast-paced, complex regulated business.
This person must have the ability to innovate, motivate and build relationships.
Lead an investment function and help design and oversee the development of investment solutions across all business channels in Davy Select.
Continuously improve the organisation's ways-of-working around investment selection, portfolio construction and fund lists, establishing strong relationships across all business and operations areas.
Work with the broader Davy Investment team on Investment Strategy & Investment Selection initiatives.Work closely with the independent financial advisers that Davy Select has key relationships with and their clients in developing high quality investment solutions.
Act as a point of contact for all queries relating to investment issues between the Davy Select account managers and independent financial advisers.
Provide investment analysis on funds and strategies as required.Understand the retail investor market, both in Ireland and internationally, with a view to gaining insights on the opportunities and challenges that trading platforms face.
Outline a clear communications strategy with a focus on improving the overall client experience through education, insights etc.As a key member of the Davy Select Team, make a significant contribution to the execution of the strategy and vision for Davy Select with the Wealth Management and operating plans.
