Our circular services help clients stay focused on their core business while allowing them to reduce their environmental footprint.The Role:As the Head of IT Ireland, you will become a key player in the UK/IRE regional IT team. You will manage the Ireland-based IT resources in a matrix environment and act as a business partner and IT enabler to the Irish Organisation. You will ensure that the company operates in line with all legal requirements including Health & Safety and Data Protection requirements.You will lead, manage and continually develop the local IT Support Team in Ireland. You will have full responsibility for local infrastructure and provide support to group IT teams and any IT projects, including the deployment assistance of a CRM rollout. You will establish a relationship of trust & understanding with the local business teams and functions. You are critical to their success and they to yours.Role Responsibilities:Understand Business and IT StrategyProduce, maintain, and own the Ireland IT Roadmap as a guiding star for regular discussions.Project DeliveryDeliver projects identified on the IT Roadmap.Demonstrate good project implementation skills.Manage delivery programs, including: Understanding objectives, Resource requirements, Risk and mitigations, Tracking and reporting, and Stakeholder management.Utilize specific project management resources when necessary.Be familiar with and understand PM techniques (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).IT Security and Disaster Recovery (DR)Ensure IT security and DR capability is always maintained.Follow group security and DR guidelines.Take prompt action in the event of an emergency.Recognize and address security issues and concerns, raising them to the appropriate function as necessary.Manage External IT Relationships and ContractsOwn and manage all external IT relationships and contracts, including: Equipment suppliers, Service and maintenance suppliers, Infrastructure suppliers, External contractors.Manage IT Resources in IrelandManage all IT resources based in Ireland, including those not reporting directly to you.Provide effective management for IT resources, including holiday and expenses management, day-to-day support, etc.Skills and Experience:Experience managing stakeholders effectively and building trust working relationships with the wider business.Ability to prioritise different projects, take ownership and meet demanding timelines.Experience in Manufacturing Business.An understanding of the circular services business model.Broad technical IT skills (support environment, system administration, network, or development background).Ability to communicate effectively with the IT team and develop technical skills, while also providing clear communication on IT updates to the wider business.The ability to quickly learn technical terminology and processes.Financial knowledge covering budgeting forecasting.Previous experience in being curious and innovative. Ability to investigate, provide suggestions and evangelize ideas.Leading with empathy and understanding the importance of teamwork.Ability to travel as needed including oversight stays and overseas trips.The role outlines the principal functions and requirements but is not exhaustive. #J-18808-Ljbffr
