MCS Group is proud to be working with a growing, market leading Irish company in their search for a Head of IT. You will work on-site from one of their locations either in Fermanagh, Longford or Cork, leading their expanding IT team and developing and implementing exciting IT and Infrastructure solutions for the future.(On-site 5 days per week- Ireland/UK)Rewards:Generous salary dependant on experienceFlexible package to suit the needs of the right applicant (pension, company car etc)Responsibilities:Lead on strategies for the departmentDevelop and implement cloud migration plansDevelop and analyse Cyber Security strategyFoster and develop relationships with IT vendors and partnersResponsibility for all IT costs, value and risk in the organisationContinuously improve the performance of the teams and analyse requirementsStay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the industryRequirements:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plusAt least 5 years of experience as a Head of IT or similar managerial roleStrong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructureManufacturing/Industrial domain experience a strong advantageKnowledge of change managementExperience of strategic planning and seeing it throughStrong understanding of budgeting and business opsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentOpen to the travel required for a senior multi-site role (circa 5 days per month) as well as working on-site 5 days per week.Right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available for this role)To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity, please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Calum Omand Specialist Recruitment Consultant at MCS Group on +353 15259641 #J-18808-Ljbffr
