A well-established Accounting firm seeks an exceptional Head of IT Operations to spearhead the IT department, ensuring efficiency and quality standards in performance and adapting to new technologies.
The ideal candidate has excellent team leadership, IT systems infrastructure, negotiation, and project management skills, with a track record of driving improvement and transforming operations teams.
Responsibilities include overseeing technology to ensure best practice, capturing key performance metrics, and maintaining a secure and up-to-date estate.
Experience in a broad variety of technology areas, including infrastructure, applications, networks, and desktop support, is essential.
Leading a team to deliver high standards in performance and operational maturity, as well as transition to new and emerging technologies, is key.
Engaging and driving performance in third parties and understanding commercials and licensing agreements is also required.
Skills and knowledge include MCSA: Windows Server, ITIL V3/4 Foundation Certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Citrix Certified Associate, VMware certified Professional, and knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server products, Microsoft Operating Systems, and System Centre Configuration Manager and Operation Manager.
Experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Azure and Office365 services, data protection and disaster recovery solutions, Virtualised Environments, and security fundamentals are also essential.
