**Head of IT Operations: Transforming the Power System**
We are seeking a seasoned IT leader to join our Chief Transformation & Technology Office, responsible for the operations, monitoring, and maintenance of business-critical applications and tools.
**Key Responsibilities:** * Lead a high-performing team to deliver strategic objectives and create an engaged and motivated workforce * Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify strategic opportunities for collaboration and improved services * Manage the day-to-day operation of vendor relationships to ensure maintenance of business systems and tools * Develop, implement, maintain, and test crisis management, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans * Ensure high availability of core applications and tools, and effectively manage and evaluate the performance of business systems and tools **Requirements:** * Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field in Information Technology or a related field (MBA preferred) * Seasoned IT leader with deep expertise in operations and maintenance of 24/7 mission-critical applications and tools in the utility industry * Experience of leading professional working relationships, managing maintenance contract delivery, and SLAs * Deep expertise in business continuity and crisis management processes for mission-critical business systems and tools * Strong strategic thinking and vision, with the ability to understand and translate business objectives into actionable outcomes * Excellent communication and engagement skills * Ability to translate complex issues for executive leadership and influence stakeholders at all levels * Ability to build effective internal and external partnerships and collaborate across functions * Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals through organizational change and transformation * Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, demonstrate resilience, and be comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity * Strong leader in managing budgeting, funding requirements, financial management, and identifying and mitigating risks * Experience working in government, public sector, or regulated industries is advantageous * Strong analytical skills to align programs with organizational goals and government priorities
