Realtime are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Director of IT Security to lead and manage the IT security strategy and initiatives. This role functions at the Head of IT Security level, with responsibilities that align with a CISO role, overseeing all aspects of security across the business. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of IT security within a dynamic company, with the full support of senior leadership. Skills & Responsibilities: - Proven track record in IT security leadership, ideally with experience at a Head of IT Security or CISO level. - Strong understanding of complex security environments, including hands-on experience with architecture and project management. - Familiarity with access management systems and processes. - Ability to evaluate, recommend, and implement security tools. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and work with senior stakeholders. - Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCISO, CRISC... - SABSA, TOGAF - Frameworks: ISO27001, NIST, NIS2, DORA - Leadership: Provide comprehensive IT security leadership across the organization, ensuring alignment of security initiatives with business objectives. - Security Architecture: Hands-on involvement in security architecture and project management, ensuring that security solutions are both innovative and practical. - Access Management: Oversee and manage access control processes, ensuring robust identity and access management systems are in place. - Training & Development: Implement relevant training programs to ensure all staff are knowledgeable and compliant with security protocols. - Tooling & Technology: Evaluate current security tools and technologies to ensure they are fit for purpose. Where gaps exist, recommend and implement alternative solutions. - Security Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of complex IT security principles, frameworks, and technologies to safeguard the organization's infrastructure.
