Head of Marketing – 123.ie & RSA Ireland Join a team that's shaping the future of insurance marketing. Reporting to the MD of 123.ie, as the Head of Marketing, you will lead and shape the marketing strategy for one of Ireland's most dynamic and recognised insurance brands, 123.ie, as well as support RSA’s wider distribution channels across Ireland and Northern Ireland. What You’ll Do In this key leadership role, you’ll have full ownership of 123.ie’s brand and demand-generation efforts, delivering integrated marketing campaigns that resonate with consumers and partners. You’ll also guide RSA’s B2B marketing across intermediated channels, affinity groups, and Northern Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Execute Strategy: Lead the creation of annual marketing strategies that align with business objectives for 123.ie, RSA Ireland, and RSA Northern Ireland, covering brand, acquisition, and retention efforts. Drive Brand Leadership: Cement 123.ie’s place as a top insurance brand in Ireland by driving innovative, results-focused advertising and digital marketing campaigns that boost brand awareness and customer preference. Lead Demand Generation: Own the planning and execution of high-performance PPC and digital campaigns to generate consumer demand and deliver on commercial objectives. Sponsorship Oversight: Lead and manage 123.ie’s sponsorship portfolio, including high-profile partnerships like Athletics Ireland, ensuring maximum brand exposure and engagement. B2B Marketing for RSA: Support RSA’s broker and affinity channels by developing opinion leadership strategies and propositions that resonate with partners and clients in both personal and commercial lines. Creative Campaign Ownership: Own the development and refinement of 123.ie’s brand positioning and creative campaigns, ensuring we maintain a differentiated voice in the market. Proposition Development: Identify opportunities to strengthen our product offerings and market competitiveness through data-driven insights and customer feedback. Agency Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure that 123.ie and RSA maintain a commanding presence in the media market. Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with teams across sales, IT, operations, and finance to ensure marketing initiatives align with broader business goals. Mentorship and Team Leadership: Inspire, guide, and mentor a multidisciplinary marketing team, empowering them to excel and become leaders within the organisation. Oversee the experiment practices. You will identify and prioritise experiments that will drive cross-channels growth. Requirements: Minimum 10-12 years experience in a senior marketing role, including digital and analytics roles, preferably in the B2C environment. Minimum 5-years experience managing a team of professionals, including managers. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, administration, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Excellent understanding of marketing and digital channels, demonstrated success in acquiring customers through different marketing tactics, channels, and platforms. A track record of achieving ambitious targets, leading multiple large-scale projects while respecting short timelines. Well-versed in analytics and in analysing large and various data sets. Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
