As an industry leader in healthcare innovation, our client, a prominent MedTech company, is searching for a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee their materials team and drive high performance behaviours.

??Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a team to ensure the highest quality and cost-effective management of materials for the manufacture of diagnostic equipment
Collaborate with multiple departments to align objectives and achieve targets
Build strong relationships with suppliers and work closely with strategic procurement managers
Streamline logistics and procurement processes through collaboration with IT and business excellence teams
Drive cost optimisation across purchasing, contracts, freight, and 3PL warehousing
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practises
Network with key stakeholders and external organisations to leverage negotiations and enhance the company's reputation in Ireland
Qualifications:
Degree in business, engineering, or a relevant discipline (QQI level 8)
8+ years of senior management experience in logistics and/or procurement
Strong negotiation skills and cost management expertise
Pragmatic approach to contract management and driving productivity
Excellent business acumen and knowledge of current best practices in Ireland
Proven track record in team leadership, coaching, and succession planning
Ability to influence peers and stakeholders both internally and externally
Continuous improvement mindset and proficiency in implementing digital tools
Strong compliance mindset in procurement, inventory, customs, and export control

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to deliver complex solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders
