Head of Operations for a Timber Framed Manufacturer in Longford. Experience of Timber Frame Manufacture, Modular construction is ideal for this position. Duties & Responsibilities Develop and execute the overall business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals. Provide market insights, strategic advice and sale focused. Overall responsibility for the estimating, design, operations, and sales functions Develop and implement business plans to improve cost-efficiency. Maintain positive and long-lasting customer relations. Oversee the company's business operations, financial performance, investments, and ventures in Ireland. Hand-on approach in supervising, guiding, and delegating duties across the team. Assess, manage, and resolve problematic developments and situations. Build and enhance the company's profile across the markets its services To ensure the plants meet their customer quality, service and safety goals through effective management of sites; Establish strong working relationships with all departments ensuring a cohesive approach to delivery of budgeted metrics and other key performance indicators; Ownership for product procurement and stock control; Ensure the site uptime is maximised through preventative maintenance programme. Maintain a safe working environment; Ensure that all procedures relating to any aspect of product manufacture are fully implemented and adhered to, in line with customer and regulatory expectations; Ensure that the material delivery and returns are in line with good manufacturing practice standards; Ensure that there are adequate resources available for each shift based on the production schedule and that appropriate control is exercised on overtime spend and other production costs; Ensure continual compliance with the policies relating to personnel, quality, engineering and safety; Recommend / implement improvements to standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement in production and safety; Essential Skills & Experience Timber Frame and roof truss experience is a distinct advantage. 5 Years experience operating at a similar level within a timber frame manufacturing / Roof Truss facility or related construction sectors. Ability to build trusted relationships with key customers. Proven ability of managing a business at a senior level. Strong business and commercial acumen Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans. Ability to engage with a design team to ensure manufacturing is optimised and on time delivery achieved. Ability to engage and motivate production teams. Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment to support our customer. Passionate about meeting both Customer and Company expectations. Able to excel in high-pressure situations.
