Lead P&L Manager
Drive revenue growth and cost efficiency for key partners by optimizing trading strategies, managing end-to-end revenue and costs, and setting clear performance targets.
The successful candidate will lead a team of cross-domain experts, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams. They will provide strategic insights and strong leadership to deliver sustainable, positive commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize trading performance across the P&L, with accountability for setting and managing trading strategies for key partners.
- Manage end-to-end costs and revenue across the P&L and geographies, making active choices to manage costs and achieve revenue targets.
- Set and align on P&L performance targets, establishing and hitting targets across partners and squads.
- Develop and embed processes and tools for effective P&L and partner performance management within the squad.
- Provide leadership to the P&L team, hiring, directly managing, coaching, and developing cross-domain experts.
- Accountable for performance evaluations and ASR conversations for SMEs, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate key drivers of performance and approach to optimize performance to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize initiatives to support P&L target achievement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role with end-to-end P&L ownership experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of financial metrics and ability to synthesize and leverage multi-variate data insights.
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to make informed decisions and negotiate sustainable, positive commercial outcomes.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-domain subject matter experts to drive revenue growth and achieve sustained cost efficiencies.
- Strategic program design and leadership experience, with the ability to design and lead complex strategic programs.
- eCommerce trading strategy execution experience, with the ability to execute e-commerce trading strategies across pricing, content management, digital marketing, CRM, and front-end optimization.
- Team management experience, with the ability to manage, develop, and lead high-performing, cross-domain teams.
