Job Description
Lead the Technical Foundation of Primark as Head of Product Engineering
Develop and implement product engineering roadmaps, driving innovation and ensuring products meet current and future needs. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute long-term product roadmaps aligned with growth objectives
- Work with product management to prioritise initiatives and ensure compliance with engineering standards and policies
- Implement improvements to existing products, optimising processes and methodologies within the engineering organisation
- Assess emerging technologies and trends, collaborating with teams to identify opportunities for product enhancements and differentiation
- Monitor product performance and reliability, implementing best practices while identifying and mitigating risks
- Over 10 years in product delivery and operations, with a focus on enterprise-grade platforms
- Proven track record in modernizing core platforms using headless and microservices architectures
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading diverse teams, fostering trust, and delivering end-to-end solutions on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of technology forecasting, cost modeling, and Dev Sec Ops principles
