Job Description

We are working with a client who is leading the way in the gaming industry to recruit for their new Head of Retention Marketing. ROLE SUMMARY The Head of Retention Marketing is accountable for the company’s performance against growth, retention and profitability targets. The Head of Retention Marketing is responsible for providing insights that enable a better understanding of the customer base that can be further used to inform customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing tactics. RETENTION MARKETING Embed a deep understanding of the “why’s” behind purchase frequency and retention trends. Provide executive-level reporting, actionable insights, and recommendations to accelerate progress against base size, mix, and profitability targets. Create actionable customer segmentations that enable the creation of targeted retention campaigns. Lead a retention marketing team who are responsible for determining and implementing the customer retention strategy – CRM Strategy, Promotions Strategy. Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to define, design, and implement the features within the marketing framework that improve our ability to effectively and efficiently attract and retain customers. Develop and manage loyalty programs that reward and incentivize player engagement. Build dynamic email, SMS, and push marketing campaigns, ensuring they are well targeted, engaging and drive player retention. Implement A/B testing to continuously optimize retention marketing efforts. Establish and track KPIs to measure the success of retention marketing initiatives. Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge. Ensure all retention marketing activity complies with industry standards and regulations. PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT Mentor and coach all team members to help achieve their goals and expectations. Oversee the performance management plan and delivery against company and personal objectives. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Proven experience in a senior-level retention marketing role within the gaming industry. Strong understanding of player behaviour, segmentation, and player lifecycle management. Proficiency in data analysis and experience with marketing analytics tools. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Creative and strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and ever-changing gaming industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
