You will also be responsible for advising on any potential risks to the profitability, safety, security or existence of the company. This role-holder will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors in Ireland, ensuring a robust and effective risk-based compliance programme.
Candidates should be aware that this role will be designated a Pre-Approval Controlled Function (namely, PCF 12, 14 and 52.)
What you can expect:
- Establishing and implementing a compliance and risk management framework across the Irish business.
- Implementing appropriate controls and frameworks to mitigate risks.
- Establishing, maintaining and effectively managing any issues, breaches & near miss reporting.
- Designing and delivering compliance/AML/regulatory mandatory training modules.
- Ensuring that the CBI Fitness and Probity Regime and MCC/MCR requirements are adhered to.
- 7+ years' relevant experience working in risk management and compliance within financial services.
- Ideally prior PCF approved.
- Practical expertise in financial crime, particularly AML/CTF & fraud.
- Experience in and understanding of, the consumer credit industry.
- Successful experience of building, leading, managing and developing high performing teams.
