Our client is a fast-growing sustainable energy company on a mission to facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy by providing innovative financial solutions. They seek an ambitious, entrepreneurial professional to join their team as Head of Sales. This is a Dublin based hybrid role offering excellent compensation, benefits and growth opportunities.Responsibilities:Sales Team Leadership: be a member of the global Senior Sales Leadership Team (SSLT) helping to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets, providing guidance and support in their professional development.Sales Strategy Development: be accountable for the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth, establish the brand in new markets, and expand our existing customer base.Target Setting and Performance Monitoring: establish challenging sales targets and closely monitor sales performance, providing regular feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary.Sales Forecasting and Reporting: analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to forecast sales targets accurately. Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.Customer Relationship Management: build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identify their needs, and provide exceptional customer service to maximise customer satisfaction and loyalty.Sales Process Optimisation: continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness enhancement to streamline operations and drive sales productivity.Cross-functional Collaboration: collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.Requirements:Excellent track record of delivering revenue and achieving consistently profitable results.An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to add significant value.Market knowledge and network of contacts to build leads within the Energy industry (Power, Gas, Oil, Carbon).Confident, credible, and persuasive with a history of collaboration, problem-solving and demonstratable communication skills.Strong team player – culturally sensitive, with the ability to work effectively across countries/regions.Proven ability to evaluate new markets and develop new opportunities.Strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills with excellent computer literacy.Not ready to apply online?
