They are a household name in the construction materials market sector and are currently enjoying record growth. This organization is renowned for high-quality and innovative products, excellent technical training, and a company ethos that empowers its employees to develop and progress. They have recently acquired another waterproofing business to strengthen their presence in this sector. The Role An amazing opportunity to drive and lead an existing Irish sales team as well as looking to add new heads in 2025. This is a brand-new role that has come about as part of the broader business vision to invest in Ireland and grow its presence across all product areas. As Country Manager your role will be a mix of traditional sales coaching, management, mentoring, and setting objectives as well as owning the budget and financial plan for the ROI and Northern Ireland regions. Initially managing a team of 4 with responsibility for recruiting additional salespeople in 2025, you will be a key player in the business and report to the UK MD. Working closely with a supportive and knowledgeable technical team in the UK you will have responsibility for growing sales through your sales team across industrial floor resins, ceramics, adhesives, admixtures, and waterproofing solutions. Someone with a proven track record of working in one or more of these product areas and understanding the construction route to market would be very desirable. Most important is a strong sales leadership approach and good commercial awareness. For the position of Head of Sales, we are looking for individuals who meet some or all of the following criteria: Successfully, recruited, coached, and led field sales teams within construction in Ireland is essential Ideally has a track record of improving business outcomes, turnover and sales teams to reach their full potential Understanding of the project specification and contractor sales process and has come from a selling background Based in the Republic of Ireland and happy with some travel to UK and Italy.
