Head of Sales - (Pensions & Investments)| Dublin /Mostly remote An exciting opportunity has opened for a Head of Sales to join an established financial services company, which is set for further growth and success. Our Client focuses on maximising the retirement income & investments of families and professionals who live and work overseas ensuring their financial needs are met with professionalism, precision, and excellence. As our client expands their operations, they are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead their sales team and maximise the exciting and lucrative sales and business development opportunities presented to their company from many different business referral sources. Role Overview: As Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the company. You will be responsible for leading a dedicated group of sales professionals, guiding them towards achieving and exceeding our ambitious but realistic sales targets. The role demands a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the Life, Pensions and invesmtents landscape, particularly in relation to retirement planning and protection. Responsibilities: Lead and motivate our team of sales representatives to achieve individual and company sales targets. Introduce and implement strategic and best practice in-house sales tracking processes and systems to drive revenue growth and market penetration. Implement and manage an efficient sales pipeline process in conjunction with our product providers to ensure the prompt processing and issuance of new business. Oversee the selection, training, and supervision of Life and Pensions Sales Staff. Manage, implement, and regularly review personalised sales plans for each member of the sales team. Provide ongoing coaching, support, and guidance to team members to enhance their performance, industry education, and professional development. Set performance targets and objectives for the sales team. Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement within the sales team. Meet your own personal sales targets as laid out in your contract of employment. Ensure that the sales process includes the timely completion and sign-off of all client files, ensuring they fully meet the current compliance standards laid out by the Central Bank of Ireland. Adhere to all relevant rules and requirements of The Central Bank of Ireland regarding the sales process, including all aspects of client contact, information exchanged, and final product recommendation. This will be in conjunction with an external CWM Compliance specialist and annual mock compliance audits which must be successfully completed. Requirements: Proven experience in the Irish Financial Services Industry as a Senior Sales Manager with a proven track record of leading and motivating a successful sales team. Hold a minimum of both the QFA & CFP qualifications and proof of maintenance of all relevant CPD requirements. A high degree of personal organisation and a structured approach to time and resource management. Goal-oriented and capable of taking personal responsibility for supporting members of the company sales team. Excellent technical knowledge and practical experience across all Life and Pensions products and services. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a high-pressure environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to achieving targets and problem-solving.
