Head of Supply Chain job in Galway for a fast-growing manufacturing company requires strong experience in sourcing, supplier management, and team leadership. **Job Summary:** We are seeking a Head of Supply Chain to lead key supply chain functions, develop and implement supply chain strategies, and manage strategic vendor partnerships. **Responsibilities:** • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals • Lead key supply chain functions including demand planning, purchasing, sourcing, production planning, and logistics • Champion ERP implementation and ensure effective planning and purchasing of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies • Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to meet company needs • Manage and maintain strategic vendor partnerships and negotiate contracts and agreements • Identify and select new or alternative supply partners as required • Identify cost savings and efficiencies across the supply base and develop and implement value improvement plans • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and corporate social responsibility policies • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies • Ensure business continuity plans are in place for supply chain disruptions • Effectively manage warehouse operations and inbound/outbound logistics **Requirements:** • University degree in Business or equivalent qualification • Minimum 10 years' experience in supply chain roles • Significant experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management • Excellent leadership, influencing, and organizational skills • Team player with strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills • Ability to motivate and lead a diverse supply chain team **Benefits:** • Private healthcare cover from day one • Company pension • 23 days annual leave per year • Bike to work scheme • Active sports and social club with events each month • Corporate gym rates and free fitness classes • Wellness programs, including an Employee Assistance Program • Top-notch tech equipment to work with • Great atmosphere, team spirit, and free office snacks • Free parking
