A successful Irish food company with a passion for importing high quality Food and Wine products, are now hiring a Head of Supply Chain to support the business growth.My client selects, imports and distributes top quality food and wine to 32 counties. We have a work force of over 80 employees, with a large number of customers and suppliers.Role:Reporting to the CFO, the Supply Chain Manager will be part of the senior leadership team.Responsibilities:This is a broad role, including responsibility for all warehouse, transport/logistics, customer services and procurement activities.A hands on role at the heart of operations which will work in collaborative manner with all other departments such as sales, finance, HR and on occasion your group counterpart/colleagues.The successful candidate will develop and periodically report on agreed KPI'sDrive the projects within the Supply Chain that are required to deliver our growth plans.Coaching direct reports with their development plans.Supporting our UK branch if required.Requirements: Experience in supply chain with a clear track record of delivery in a fast paced/growth environment Food industry knowledge A clear and effective communicator at all levels of organisation Hands on operator who can manage diverse demands, mentor/support direct reports and deliver expectations Self -starter, can take initiative, apply knowledge and make a difference Proven leader, capable of motivating and building effective teams.
