This is an exciting time to join a fast-paced environment and manage the site Health and Safety Team in ABP Clones. You will have support from the Group Health and Safety Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident individual with a positive ‘can do attitude’, and the drive to get the job done.Requirements:Level 8 qualification – Health & Safety with 3-5 years relevant industry experienceComputer literate – Proficient in Microsoft Office.Excellent communication skills and professional demeanourHardworking and flexible with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Highly organized individual with excellent attention to detail and great accuracyA self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative in a busy, results-driven environment.Responsibilities:Engaging and influencing the Site Safety Management Team at a senior levelResponsible for being up to date with new Health & Safety Legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of developments within our industry.Building the Health & Safety Culture throughout the siteConducting regular internal audits to check policies & procedures are being properly implemented, recording the results & communicating them to Management.Carrying out/updating risk assessments, formulating preventative measures, and monitoring conformanceDeveloping safe systems of work & maintaining risk trackers as requiredAttending & heading up weekly Safety briefings/huddles with Line ManagersInvestigating, recording & conducting follow-ups of any incident, accident, or near missesEnsuring the site Emergency Plan & Procedures is up to date, communicated & understood by all key responders.Ensuring all equipment is installed & operated safely as per legislation.Leading third party Health & Safety inspections & audits #J-18808-Ljbffr
