Job Opportunity: Health and Safety Manager Location: Hilden, Monaghan Salary: Up to €60,000 Type: Full-time About the Role: My client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join aleading food production company in Hilden, Monaghan. The successful candidate willbe responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safetypolicies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies andprocedures.• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards.• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations andlegislation.• Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety practices.• Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, implementing correctiveactions as needed.• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within theorganization.• Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities and incidents.• Lead health and safety committee meetings and ensure effectivecommunication of safety issues and initiatives.• Stay updated on new regulations and best practices in health and safety. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager or similar role, preferably inthe food industry.• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective solutions.• Relevant health and safety certifications or qualifications.• Strong organizational and leadership skills.• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
