A leading player in the Construction Materials Processing Industry seeks a Health and Safety Officer to oversee site operations in Cork.

About the Role: The successful Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for:
- Designing, managing, and implementing Health & Safety policies and systems specific to the Cork site.
- Performing risk assessments, producing method statements, and conducting site inspections and audits.
- Implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.
- Overseeing site inductions and delivering manual handling training to employees.
- Documenting accidents/near misses and driving corrective changes to prevent future incidents.
- Managing all Health & Safety paperwork and liaising with senior on-site management regarding H&S strategy.
About the Ideal Candidate: We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Health & Safety within the manufacturing or production sector. Experience working at a senior level is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with all levels of staff and management.
