Health & Safety Officer Officer Job role: health and safety officer - Dublin We are advertising a job role of health and safety officer for an organisation who is one of Irelands leading building contractors. This company is looking for a H&S officer to aid them in their mission of keeping the work environment safe. They promote health and safety as one of their main priorities. Day-to-day responsibilities: Manage emergency procedures, respond to health and safety-related complaints or issues; Keep a focus on health and safety within the business Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks Keeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements Keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers Delivering Toolbox Talks and liaising with HSE, Fire Officers, Environmental Health Officers Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and adhered to Making changes to working practices making them safer and ensuring they comply with current legislation Skills and qualifications: Recognised EHS Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification preferred) 2+ years in similar role Previous construction experience is preferred IT Skills Must work well as a team and be able to collaborate with others This is an excellent opportunity for somebody that wants to further their career in health and safety with great career progression opportunities.
