Health and Safety Officer - County Clare. Key role in the company, requires someone from a fast-paced multinational background. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing health, safety and environmental policies and procedures, providing advice and guidance to internal stakeholders, and promoting a positive H&S culture. Additional responsibilities include co-ordinating and delivering training, conducting audits and risk assessments, and supporting emergency plans. Qualifications and skills sought include a third level qualification in Health & Safety or similar, at least 2-3 years on-site Safety Officer experience, and experience in risk assessment and Irish and EU health and safety legal requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work on own initiative and solve problems, are also required. Relevant skills include health and safety engineering, manufacturing, and training.
