Job Description
Join our client's team in County Kildare as a Health & Safety Officer. Key responsibilities include implementing health and safety policies, advising site management, and conducting regular inspections. Requirements: relevant Health and Safety Qualification, previous construction experience, full Driving license, excellent IT skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Implement health and safety policies, procedures, and management systems.
Advise and assist site management in drafting and communicating Method Statements, Safe Plans of Action, and Tool Box Talks.
Provide advice, guidance, and instruction in health and safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees.
Deliver health and safety induction programs for new employees or sub-contractors.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits, reporting findings to site and senior management.
Ensure all accidents are reported, recorded, and investigated, and suitable notification is given to the Directors, Health and Safety Authority, and Insurers.
Promote a healthy and incident-free workplace.
Compile relevant information for inclusion in the Safety File and prepare for handover to the Client at the end of the project.
