Job Description
Permanently join a renowned Construction company in County Kildare as a Health & Safety Officer. Implement health, safety, quality, and environmental policy, procedures, and management systems. Provide guidance and advice on health and safety matters. Conduct site inspections and audits, and ensure accidents are reported and investigated. Promote a healthy and incident-free workplace. Requirements include a relevant Health and Safety Qualification, previous construction experience, and strong IT and communication skills.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Implement company health, safety, quality, and environmental policy, procedures, and management systems.
* Advise and assist site management in drafting and communicating method statements, safe plans of action, and tool box talks.
* Provide guidance, advice, and instruction on health and safety matters.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
* Ensure accidents are reported, recorded, and investigated.
* Promote a healthy and incident-free workplace.
* Requirements:
* Relevant Health and Safety Qualification.
* Previous work experience in construction.
* Full, clean driving license.
* Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
* Confident, proactive, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
