Health and Safety Support Manager required to coordinate and advise on Health and Safety aspects, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations.
The Business Assurance Department is seeking a Health and Safety Support Manager to join their team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring operations and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Liaising with onsite and regional management to ensure effective Health and Safety practices.
- Ensuring all employees hold correct Health and Safety training and records are up to date.
- Assisting with risk assessments and implementing recommended improvements.
- Managing lone working procedures and conducting safety inspections.
- Fostering a positive Health and Safety culture and contributing to safety initiatives.
- Liaising with external clients and contracts under supervision.
- Producing regular reports and following up on corrective actions.
- Gathering and analysing Health and Safety data and statistics.
Desired skills and experience include:
- Nebosh International General Certificate.
- Experience working in a Health and Safety position.
- Genuine interest in Health and Safety.
- Professional approach and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT skills and verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Ability to work with software packages.
- Competent and comfortable using Microsoft Teams.
- Good timekeeping and attendance record.
Salary: Starting rate of €38,500 rising to €42,050 after 1 year, plus car allowance of €5,440 per annum.
Probationary period: 6 months.
