We are seeking Health Care Assistants to provide support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in South-West Dublin. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred and directed approach
- Develop and deliver supports to help individuals achieve their goals and live meaningful lives
- Respectfully support individuals with their personal care
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues
- Use computers, internet, and digital programmes to support individuals
- Drive individuals to appointments and activities
Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 qualification in a relevant field
- Minimum of one year's continuous paid employment in a similar role
- Full clean driving licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
