Job Description
We are seeking a Health Care Assistant and Social Care Worker to provide residential care to children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. The successful candidate will support the team to deliver a high-quality service, ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations, record keeping and legislation. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Social Care or Applied Social Studies, experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, and excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Duties:
- Support the team to ensure compliance with HIQA regulations.
- Carry out duties and responsibilities of the role.
- Ensure record keeping is in line with legislation and HIQA requirements.
- Work directly with individuals and complete administrative tasks.
- Be highly organised and have excellent report writing and IT skills.
- Requirements:
- Recognised Diploma in Social Care or Applied Social Studies.
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare qualification (preferred).
- HIQA Standards knowledge.
- Full clean driving license.
