Health Economics Graduate Intern (Glaxo Smith Kline) – 24-month fixed term contract.

As the Health Economics Graduate Intern for GSK Ireland, you will gain on-the-job work experience of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) through assisting in the completion of a rapid review submission for an innovative medicine from the GSK medicines' portfolio to the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics (NCPE).

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Learn and develop HEOR expertise for a NCPE pharmaco-economic (PE) rapid review (RR) submission for a new GSK innovation medicine.

Assume the role of co-author for sections of the PE dossier (RR) to ultimately secure timely patient access to this new GSK medicine.

Assist in defining the appropriate clinical profiles, relevant comparators and evidence generation needed for delivering a robust RR submission.

Accountable for gathering the relevant epidemiological, clinical, comparator and ancillary cost of treatment data required for budget impact analyses for RR dossier.

Live the values, principles and expectations of GSK; always act within all ethical, legal and compliance codes of industry and GSK.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for students with these required qualifications, experience and skills: Bachelor's degree in relevant healthcare profession (e.g.
pharmacist, nurse) or bioscience discipline.
Masters and/or Ph D in Health Economics or related qualification/discipline.
Knowledge of Guidelines for the Economic Evaluation of Health Technologies in Ireland and related regulations.
Health economics work experience with NCPE processes is advantageous.
Experience of medical writing and/or track record of scientific publications is advantageous.
Working knowledge about the current and planned future developments in the Irish healthcare system.
