Health & Safety Advisor role in Cork with a leading contractor in Ireland, requiring 2-3 years experience in H&S within construction, preferably residential.

Job Description
- Manage emergency procedures and respond to health and safety-related complaints or issues.
- Keep a focus on health and safety within the business, staying up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation.
- Lead in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.
- Outline safe operational procedures, identifying and taking account of all relevant hazards and communicating to all employees.
- Keep records of inspections findings and produce reports suggesting improvements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and adhered to.
- Making changes to working practices to make them safer and ensure they comply with current legislation.
- Ensure safe working procedures are implemented and that all accidents are reported, recorded, investigated and appropriate actions are taken.
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
- Previous construction experience.
- Ability to work well as a team and collaborate with others.
- Driver's license.
