Health & Safety Advisor sought for Dublin-based civils client to contribute to Health & Safety coordination and develop policies to reduce potential risks.
Job Description
INFORM3 are recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor to support our busy civils client. The successful candidate will be NEBOSH Certified with a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the water construction sector with deep excavation experience.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering Health & Safety contracts and policies
- Ensuring inspections of projects are regularly undertaken in accordance with agreements and reporting any action points
- Organising daily workload and routes to ensure all projects within the business portfolio are visited within a set time period
- Completing inspection reports to a high standard
- Uploading and sending inspection reports to the relevant people within the business
- Working alongside Contracts Managers and Project Managers
- Recommending prioritised actions in respect to safety improvements
- Facilitating continuous improvement in all aspects of the sites as required
Requirements:
- Health & Safety background within the utilities sector
- 1 - 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience in deep excavations
- NEBOSH certification
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly and easily with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Full Driving License
