Job Description

Health and Safety Advisor sought for Dublin-based Data Centre Division to provide expert advice and support to project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and provide sound, industry-leading advice to project stakeholders.
  • Carry out regular audits and inspections of Sisk workplaces, as coached by the BU HSE Manager.
  • Attend sites following accidents or incidents and assist with investigations.
  • Liaise with enforcement authorities if they attend site to investigate.
  • Assist the HSE Manager in preparing Health and Safety reports for the BU MD.
  • Alert the HSE Manager to potential periods of inadequate Health and Safety cover.
  • Support tender and prequalification teams with Health and Safety advice and solutions.
  • Attend Start Up meetings and supply chain meetings as requested.
  • Deliver training and stay up-to-date with legislative changes and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Tech IOSH certification.
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Health and Safety professional.
  • At least 3 years' experience in the construction industry.
  • Pharma experience an advantage.
  • NEBSOH Construction Certificate or equivalent NVQ Level 4 / EFQ L3 in Occupational Health and Safety.
