Health and Safety Advisor Role Overview: The successful candidate will support the delivery of projects across the business, focusing on health and safety. Key qualities include a strong commitment to health and safety, compliance, reporting, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site surveys and setting out. Provide health and safety training (e.g., manual handling, toolbox talks, safety inductions). Conduct safety inspections and audits. Promote accident prevention and environmental protection. Assist in preparing incident reports and provide statistical data to management. Implement and maintain the companys health, safety, and environmental policies and systems. Support management in developing H&S procedures, policies, and programs. Monitor and enforce Health & Safety Management System compliance. Identify and address site-specific hazards. Ensure site records are maintained and statutory requirements are met. Conduct site audits and address non-conformances. Contribute to accident and incident investigations. Identify on-site training needs. Perform additional tasks as required. Candidate Requirements: Full, clean drivers license. 3rd level qualification in Health and Safety (desirable). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong time management and communication skills. Ability to manage risk and build strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
