We're working with a leading tier 1 main contractor in their search for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor based in Limerick. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment while fostering a culture of proactive safety management.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct audits and inspections of workplaces as directed by the BU HSE Manager
2. Attend sites following accidents or incidents, assist with investigations, or lead investigations in the absence of the Project Director or HSE Manager
3. Support the HSE Manager in preparing Health and Safety reports for the BU MD
4. Alert the HSE Manager of any potential periods of inadequate Health and Safety coverage
5. Assist tender and prequalification teams with Health and Safety advice and practical solutions as needed
6. Participate in start-up meetings with your line manager and site teams
7. Attend supply chain meetings when requested
8. Deliver appropriate Health and Safety training to ensure compliance and promote safety awareness

Requirements:

1. IOSH/NEBOSH qualification preferred, but not mandatory
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry
3. At least 3 years of experience as a Health and Safety professional
4. Experience with temporary works
5. Experience as an internal auditor
6. Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and performance management experience
