MCS Group is delighted to be working in partnership with one of Irelands top FMCG companies, to recruit a Health & Safety Business Partner to lead their site in Co. Cavan. Reporting to the Group Head of Health and Safety, you will; Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health and promote a zero-harm culture. Ensure that all Group Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated. Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting. Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations. Engage all people on site to work together for the improvement of Health and Safety Ensure that all incidents are documented, investigated and any improvements implemented. Contribute to the development and improvement of Group Health & Safety procedures in the workplace. Liaise with HR to ensure that all employees undergo statutory health and safety training as a minimum as well as additional training where appropriate. Integrate the group programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits and checks. The successful candidate will be an experienced Health & Safety professional with relevant practical experience, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
