Health & Safety Advisor-(Manufacturing) CREGG are seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Advisor to work with Galway's world leading multinational medical device manufacturer.Call Rachel on or email to discuss. We seek a candidate ideally from a machinery related OR strong risk assessment background with expertise in health and safety. About the role: Working hours: 39hr work week. Monday-Friday with a 1pm Friday finish. 1-2 days work from home depending on the week. As part of the equipment safety team, your role will involve equipment risk assessments, safety reviews, and advising equipment designers on directives and standards relating to equipment safety. Key responsibilities will include: Performing and Co-ordinating hazard and risk assessments for manufacturing equipment built internally by the equipment group Safety control system reviews to ensure compliance to standards. Ensuring equipment meets appropriate safety requirements. Support assessments of new manufacturing processes. Responding to safety incidents across the company. Skills and Qualifications Technical Qualification (Engineering, Electrical, EHS or other) required. Excellent written,verbal and communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team. Proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, etc.) required. Skills: Risk Assessment ATEX Equipment
