Health, Safety and Environment Officer (HSE Officer) Lir Chocolates, Navan County Meath Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week Are you passionate about Health, Safety, and Environmental processes, and ready to make a significant impact? We’re looking for a dynamic HSE Officer to join our Operations team and drive a strong safety culture across our site. Responsibilities: Lead HSE initiatives within the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), setting future safety objectives and strategies. Foster a positive and respectful safety culture across all levels of the organisation. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, policies, and legal obligations. Develop and maintain risk assessments, safety plans, and emergency response procedures. Lead incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with various departments to embed HSE practices in all aspects of site operations. Oversee environmental management and identify opportunities for energy and carbon reduction. Qualifications: Experience: Substantial HSE management experience in a food manufacturing environment. Leadership: Ability to lead change, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail. Qualifications: BSc in Health & Safety, CMIOSH (or working towards), HACCP Level 3, and knowledge of ISO standards (14001, 45001, 50001). (Or working towards/ a desire to complete the above qualifications).
