Job role:Health & Safety officer - Dublin The CSR Group Has been retained by one of Irelands leading Civil Contractors Who have a number of live sites within the Dublin area. Your role will be reporting directly to the H&S Lead while completing everyday Duties on site. This is a multisite role for sites across the Dublin area. They promote Health & Safety as being a main priority within the company and strive uphold a high level of safety in the work that they endeavour into. The successful candidate will have prior experience as a H&S officer and good knowledge around Health & Safety within the construction industry. Day-to-day responsibilities: Manage emergency procedures, respond to health and safety-related complaints or issues; Keep a focus on health and safety within the business Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks Keeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements Keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers Delivering Toolbox Talks and liaising with HSE, Fire Officers, Environmental Health Officers Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and adhered to Making changes to working practices making them safer and ensuring they comply with current legislation Skills and qualifications: Recognised H&S Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification preferred) 3+ years in similar role Previous construction experience Full Driver's licence This is an excellent opportunity for somebody that wants to further their career in health and safety with great career progression opportunities.
