Health and Safety Officer sought for a leading contractor in the Greater Dublin area, with a strong focus on construction industry regulations and site safety.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in health and safety, a strong understanding of Irish regulations, and a recognized EHS degree or diploma.
Key responsibilities include:
- Keeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and developments
- Leading in-house training on health and safety issues and risks
- Outlining safe operational procedures and communicating to all employees
- Carrying out regular site inspections and making changes to working practices to ensure compliance with current legislation
Skills and qualifications:
- Recognized EHS degree or diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification preferred)
- 2+ years in a similar role
- Previous construction experience (pharma experience preferred)
